Opening van het nieuwe seizoen 2023/2024

Dat betekent dus LEDENWERFWEEKEND!

Je kan alleen naar binnen als je lid wordt, dit kost maar €15,-! Maar hier krijg je natuurlijk wel wat voor terug:

– Een prachtig Flaatpasje
– 2 consumpties voor tijdens het ledenwerfweekend.
– Korting op bandavonden, meestal €2,50.
– Het hele ledenwerfweekend bier voor een leuk prijsje
– Je kan als lid achter de bar staan en je mede Flaters je favoriete muziek laten horen
– Je hebt algehele inspraak op de wekelijkse vergaderingen met het bestuur
– Je kan je zegje doen op de jaarlijkse Algemene Ledenvergadering

Donderdag gaat de deur om 20.30 open en zal Pimmetje achter de bar staan om je van muziek en bier te voorzien. Ondertussen zal Tim de balletjes van de grote prijzen Bingo laten draaien. Ben jij erbij?

Vrijdag openen we met de jaren bekende Pubquiz met Cindy en Megan! Je kan je groepje van max. 4 aanmelden bij Cindy op de avond zelf. Mag de beste winnen!

Zaterdag hebben we de geweldige Karaoke avond! Even wat anders dan normaal de Pleebeksjow! Onze ere gast Rubberen Rikkie is er ook weer bij, dat wil je natuurlijk niet missen! Deur open 20.30u

Zondag sluiten we het ledenwerfweekend af met de traditionele BBQ! De Flaat zorgt voor het vlees, dus zorg dat jij het komt opeten! Deur open 15.00u

Het wachten duurde lang, maar het was het waard. Met hun Fat Wreck Chords-debuut ‘The Visitor’ gaat Cigar (US) verder waar ze gebleven waren op ‘Speed is Relative’. Deze plaat levert meer van de razendsnelle, melodische punkrock die het debuut van de band in 1999 zijn verdiende status als cultklassieker onder skatepunk-diehards opleverde. Met dit nieuwe album op zak komt het trio op zondag 6 augustus de boel op stelten zetten.

Support voor deze avond de helden van Drunktank. Zij behoeven geen introductie meer en behoren al jaren tot de creme de la creme van de Nederlandse punkrock.

PISS KITTI are a Liverpool-based punk band, born out of the desire for inclusivity for queer people within the UK music scene and beyond. Gaining popularity in major cities across the UK and beyond, their captivating live shows have landed them support slots alongside artists such as BLACK LIPS, DREAM WIFE and UK tour support for AMYL AND THE SNIFFERS. “They are a true reflection of what youth culture is like today: it’s gender-bending, it’s feminist, its ambiguous, it’s angry, it’s fun, it’s emotional, it’s art, it’s smart, it’s making a statement yet, not taking yourself too seriously, it’s about breaking rules to create a better future even if that isn’t intentional and it’s PISS KITTI who are taking the torch and running with it”

Sitting somewhere between 00’s indie and 80’s hardcore, Bruise Control have carved themselves an unlikely name in DIY punk, thanks to a handful of self-produced releases and a notoriety for chaotic live shows. Initially formed in late 2018, the groups foundations were strong – separate veterans of the Manchester punk scene, the core trio of Jim Taylor, Devon Cryer and Tommy Victor Morris originally set out to create classic garage punk, influenced by the likes of Gøggs, Nancy and Dead Moon. After the addition of guitarist Niall Griffin, the group utilised the unexpected free time granted by the COVID-19 pandemic to hone in on a new sound. Taking further cues from modern post punk acts (Pissed Jeans, Amyl and the Sniffers, Black Midi), the band bridges the gap between the traditional and the experimental, signified by the release of ‘Taxman’ in 2021 (no, not that Beatles song). After three years of writing, six months of gigs, two EP’s and a single, The band are currently recording their first full length LP, due for release in 2022.

Isiliel is a solo dance/vocal project by Himari Tsukishiro (NECRONOMIDOL).

Mixing genres as diverse as folk, blackgaze and city pop via a worldwide team of veteran songwriters such as King Dude and NARASAKI of COALTAR OF THE DEEPERS, through Isiliel Himari will express hitherto unexplored depths of pathos and beauty on stage.

Fastloud is a 90’s Punk-Rock band raised in Barcelona in 2015. Influenced by melodic punk bands like NOFX, Lagwagon, Satanic Surfers or Good Riddance. With short, fast-paced songs and hard-edged melodies or lyrics about the day to day living.

Chump started at the end of the 90’s. Niko and Bruno, listening non stop to stuff like Green Day, NOFX, Lagwagon, Bad Relgion, No Use For A Name, decided to create a band so they can cover what they were listening to and also write their own songs.

This is O.L.T.A.S…Slow and dark, sometimes fast and fierce. With an occasional ray of light…our light… Doom metal with a death metal feel seeping through, refreshed by some oldskool thrash and hardcore riffs. Somewhere in time our paths inevitably crossed. With a clear vision of what the world was lacking, our journey began. Now the first EP ‘’Íllusion of Control’’ is emerging. As we dethrone our own inner tyrants, the good in the world can rise. We hope to contribute to a collective change of consciousness from the inside. By combining our creative energy, music with clear intention rises to the surface. Driven by faith we become necessary to the urgency of our times. We hope to see all of you out there someday…

Eind 2015 in het mooie plaatsje Doetinchem besloten originele zanger Hannes Driessen en Wiebe Oudesluijs om Cannibalistic Sqvirrel op te richtten. Snel werden we versterkt door Roos Oudesluijs, Mischa Sluijter en Dominic Bolder. In 2019 doken we de studio in om de EP Beeldenstorm op te nemen. Opnieuw in 2022 voor de singles Stedendwinger & Ochtendritueel en een collab met Volviers. In 2022 besloot Dominic Bolder dat hij niet langer bij Cannibalistic Sqvirrel kon drummen. Wij hebben een waardige vervanger in Timo Fränzel gevonden! Onze liefde voor keiharde metal zorgt ervoor dat Cannibalistic Sqvirrel met veel geweld uit je speakers komt knallen. Dus Wielrenners wees gewaarschuwd, want Cannibalistic Sqvirrel komt eraan!

Alpha Robot speelt zoals het het zelf omschrijven Brass heavy punk rock from the immediate future. Deze avond is ook de introductie van de nieuwe drummer. Daarnaast is de entree ook nog eens gratis, dus er is al helemaal geen reden om dit te missen.
